Tuna Bagel
The bagel was invented somewhere in the seventeenth century. A roll with a hole in the middle that was first boiled and then baked in the oven. Why that hole exists is not entirely clear. However, photos from the early twentieth century have been found showing street vendors selling the rolls on a long stick - so the hole was functional at some point. Watch the video below!

Variation tip!
For some extra spice, mix some sriracha into the tuna salad!
Slice the bagels in half horizontally.
Make the tuna salad by mixing the drained tuna with mayonnaise and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
Spread the tuna salad on the bagel and lay the other half of the bagel on top.
Serve the bagel with some slices of red onion and cucumber.
